After a week filled with rumors and speculation about potential River Plate refereeing assignments, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) has appointed one of the best referees in the country to officiate the crucial match between River Plate and the undefeated leader, Argentinos Juniors. Facundo Tello, who was part of the World Cup squad, will be in charge of this important game at the Monumental Stadium on Sunday. This will be his first Professional League match since participating in the World Cup.
Before this crucial encounter, Tello will also officiate the Copa Argentina match between Atlético Tucumán and Independiente.
