River Plate and IE University presented the case study "Caso River: From Hell to Heaven" in Madrid, officially sharing their management model with the world. This comprehensive academic work analyzes in depth the institutional, sporting, and commercial transformation of the Argentine entity between 2013 and 2026, consolidating the club as a reference model and a global success in the sports industry. The Aula Magna of the IE University campus in Madrid was the chosen venue for the presentation of this report. The document, titled "Caso River - Club Atlético River Plate (2013-2026): From Hell to Heaven. Transformation and growth of a football icon", is integrated directly into the academic program of one of the most prestigious business schools in the world, recognized in the rankings of Financial Times, QS, or Bloomberg. The institutional opening act counted on the participation of Wenceslao Bunge, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to the Kingdom of Spain. During his intervention, Bunge highlighted the strategic value of institutional cooperation between both countries and praised River Plate as a cultural and sports ambassador fundamental for Argentina abroad. Alongside him, the highest authorities of IE University acted as hosts for a full auditorium. The conduct and breakdown of the event were led by Matías Patanian, International Ambassador and former Vice President of the club, who led the debate on the guidelines that allowed the club to reverse the most complex situation in its recent history. "We are proud to be able to share our management model with the world", Patanian said during the presentation. The core of the study details the path of the entity from the deep crisis to the vanguard of modern football. The success of this metamorphosis is sustained, according to the analysis, on clear strategic pillars: the absolute professionalization of executive areas, the implementation of a fan-centric strategy that prioritizes the fan, the safeguarding of the sporting model based on the development of lower categories, the modernization of infrastructure, the expansion of the brand, and a solid institutional link with the mass of members. The event was ratified as one of the most powerful institutional movements of River Plate in the European continent. The launch added the support of international figures such as David Trezeguet, Institutional International Representative of the Buenos Aires entity. Also attending the event were high-ranking officials from public and private organizations, directors of major clubs and European federations, entertainment industry leaders, as well as the IE University community and a large group of international media.
