What are the new access rules?
The club has implemented perimeter access controls several blocks around the stadium. These turnstiles, located at the Quinteros, Figueroa Alcorta, Puente Labruna, Udaondo, and Alcorta accesses, will validate entry through facial recognition, the Carnet Único, or physical National ID. It is key to note that physical ID can only be used three times in the entire year for those who selected this option in RiverID. Tickets acquired through any means other than RiverID will not allow entry, and an online purchase receipt is also invalid.
To facilitate access for families and those requiring assistance, special channels have been set up. One is at Libertador and Udaondo, for the Belgrano, Sívori, Centenario Media (Gate O), Centenario Alta, and Centenario Baja stands. Another channel is at Figueroa Alcorta and Monroe, for San Martín and Centenario Media stands. These channels are for adults with children under eight, people over 70, people with disabilities, and wheelchair users.
What sanctions will the club apply for misconduct?
The disciplinary measures are clear and severe. A member who tries to use their Carnet Único at a turnstile without having their ticket will be suspended for six months. Lending the card to a third party for stadium entry will result in a one-month suspension. Invading the field of play will lead to a one-year suspension, plus the loss of their 'Tu Lugar en el Monumental' or their season ticket in the new lower stands.
For violent conduct such as assaults or disturbances, sanctions can range from two years to an indefinite suspension from entering the stadium. Racist, xenophobic, and homophobic gestures and chants are also strictly prohibited, with specific measures and sanctions for non-compliance. Climbing railings, parapets, or prohibited places carries a two-year suspension of membership or 'Somos River' status, with a ban on stadium access. Non-members who commit this infraction will be reported to authorities for inclusion in the 'Derecho de Admisión'.
What items are prohibited from entry?
The list of prohibited objects is extensive and aims to guarantee everyone's safety. Pyrotechnics, alcoholic beverages, narcotics or toxic substances, weapons and sharp objects, and blunt objects that could be used as projectiles are not allowed. Also banned are flags or signs with offensive or discriminatory messages, unauthorized professional cameras and recording equipment, and drones or aerial devices. All attendees must respect their assigned location and rules of conduct, and those who commit infractions affecting the normal development of the match will be subject to sanctions determined by the club.
