River Plate continues its search for a reinforcement in Brazil, with Kevin Castaño as the target. The Argentine club has already sold Facundo Colidio and is in talks to loan out one of its players. What does this mean for Castaño's future?

What happened?

This week has been marked by signings and departures for River Plate. In parallel with the agreement for the arrival of Thiago Almada from Atlético Madrid, in the offices of the Monumental, the sale of Facundo Colidio was closed in word and also advanced in the loan of one of the dispensable players.

Why is this important for River Plate?

The possibility of Castaño leaving on loan to Atlético Mineiro is latent, although from River, they still do not confirm a formal agreement due to the competition that exists with another institution. Castaño's situation was further exposed after the defeat against Rosario Central in the Monumental. Although both maintain a friendship outside the pitch, the gesture was considered inopportune because the midfielder continues under contract with the club.
