The amount includes the main works, seats, railings, movable property, construction management, technical monitoring, security, financing, and service adjustments. The work will allow the stadium to reach a capacity for 101,000 spectators, adding a new 360° tier and covering the entirety of the stands with a roof. The project includes the incorporation of 16,000 additional seats, all reserved for partners, and prioritizes preferential access without extra cost for subscribers. The financing of the work was structured with an international credit of up to USD 100 million, approved by the Inter-American Development Bank and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. The club also signed a commercial agreement for USD 110 million for the naming of the stadium and the exclusive exploitation of shows and concerts for a decade. The start of the renovation is scheduled for April, with an execution period of 36 months. The management assured that the impact on the local team will be minimal, limited to a maximum of three games throughout the work. The schedule includes a phased planning to maintain the institution's usual functioning. The project includes improvements to the River Plate Institute and the youth residence Casa River, and at least 25% of the additional income will be allocated to scholarships and development of sports and social infrastructure through the Social Reinvestment Fund.
